When Experience Matters

Certificate of Conformity (CoC) under Scheme-IV of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018 is granted by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for goods manufactured in accordance with the relevant Indian Standards.
Under BIS Act, 2016, BIS is authorized to grant CoC to those manufacturers for such goods and articles, which conform to the relevant Indian Standard or essential requirements and the grant of such CoC is subject to the manufacturer complying with the norms laid down by BIS from time to time. Each product or the package, as the case may be, shall be marked with CoC number.

WHO CAN APPLY

FOR CoC?

All product manufacturers covered under CoC are required to get a Certificate of Conformity from BIS and only sell the product with a valid CoC. The manufacturer shall ensure that all the materials used are ISI Marked with a valid BIS license.
