\nThe Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (\u201cLM Act\u201d) establishes uniform weights and measures and\nregulates trade and commerce in weights, measures and other goods which are sold or\ndistributed by weight, measure or number.\n

\nThe Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 (LMPC Rules)<\/b>\n

\nThe Packaged Commodities (PC) Rules governs the packing and labelling of commodities.\nChapter II of the PC Rules contains provision applicable to packages intended to be sold for retail\nsale.
